All embroidery files in the shop have been extensively tested by me and my embroidery experts and are error-free. If you still encounter problems, please contact me.
I recommend using three layers of washable stabilizer for FSL (free-standing lace).
- Please DO NOT use foil.
- The speed of the embroidery machine should always be drastically reduced.
- Always use the smallest possible hoop to ensure good tension on the stabilizer.
- I recommend a 90-size topstitch needle and stitching at a moderate speed.
- It is also advantageous NOT to stitch multiple elements in one large hoop, but always individually in the smallest possible hoop.
TIP: Don't throw away any leftover stabilizer. Place strips left over from other lace projects between two layers to create your three layers. This saves money and materials.
After embroidering, rinse the stabilizer under lukewarm running water and lay your pieces flat to dry. Under no circumstances should you stretch or pull your pieces while they're wet. Once dry, you can steam iron them under a tea towel.
